Please make sure that mailbox passwords meet the following requirements or the control panel may present an error when trying to save/update a mailbox:
- Password must be at least 8 characters total in length.
- Password must contain at least 1 capital letter.
- Password must contain at least 1 lower case letter.
- Password must contain at least 1 number.
- Password must contain at least 1 symbol.
- Password cannot contain the domain name or mailbox name as part of it's password.
Please note that even if you are updating a different setting within a mailbox and not changing the password that the control panel will present an error on "saving" the mailbox if the mailbox's previous password does not meet the new requirements listed above. Whenever a mailbox is saved or updated within the control panel it checks if the current mailbox password meets the above requirements and if it does not then the control panel will not allow the mailbox to be updated until a new password meeting the listed requirements is set on the mailbox.
