Email functionality for a domain alias

A domain alias inherits the same email settings and accounts as its hosted domain.  There forth, messages can be sent to an email account @ the hosted domain or @ its alias.  For example a site that has 123.com as a hosted domain and 456.com as an alias can receive email as admin@123.com or admin@456.com but both of these email addresses will utilize the same email account, thus you cannot set unique settings or receive separate messages sent to either "admin" email address.
