How to setup new Hosted Domain and install DNN.

Log into the control panel and choose domains.  In the domain menu choose "add new", then choose a registration option, we recommend "no registration or transfer required" since you can transfer or register the domain at any time then click "next".  In the following window type the desired domain name and choose "save".  Once the domain is created in our control panel you will be directed to the menu for the new domain ("domain menu").

If you have not registered or transferred your domain's name server records to our servers then you will need to enable prepropagation support.  To do so in the domain menu choose "application packs" --> Prepropagation support --> Install.  When this is complete a temporary url to access your site will be displayed, if you choose this url you should see a "under construction" holding page, save this url to your favorites or note it elsewhere.

In your control panel browser window go back to the domain menu, where you need to choose WADE --> Dot Net Nuke --> choose the latest version from the bottom of the pull down menu --> install.  This will initiate the installation of DNN on your new domain.  Do not close, refresh, or stop your browser window while DNN is installing.  A confirmation message will display when all the necessary files have been copied to your domain's directories.  Then, you need to access the site via the prepropagation url, or domain name so that the installation can complete (the progress will be displayed), when it has completed you will receive the message "click here to access your portal".  Once you click on the message you should see the default DNN installation page, where you can setup your portal.  For more details check out our flash tutorials which are available from our home page support menu or at: http://www.ihostasp.net/FlashTutorials/Default.asp.
