Last night we completed a RAID array rebuild on the SAN unit that services our legacy HELM e-mail server. However, it appears there is a need for an additional file system consistency check to address the file IO issues we have discovered this afternoon that are affecting the stability of the service. Unfortunately, this operation will require us to dismount the storage volume.

Therefore, starting 10PM Friday, March 21st we will pause the mail service on the shared HELM cluster to perform this critical maintenance operation. All inboud e-mail will be retained and delivered once the service is fully operational. Please note this is only affecting the legacy HELM cluster mail service delivery. We anticipate that this procedure will take several hours.
