Please be aware the mail services on the shared HELM cluster may perform slower or generate timeout errors when using POP3, IMAP4, and SMTP protocols. We are aware of this issue. This performance degradation is the result of the RAID replication process that is currently being conducted on the SAN unit that is used for the mail data storage. Unfortunately as the result the mail-server has less IO cycles and is working without read/write cache until this process is completed.
Currently the SAN has replicated to 70% of its capacity and we anticipate it will take another 6 to 9 hours to complete. Please be patient, the mail service is operational and no messages are being lost. The normal performance level will resume once the SAN replication is completed.Perşembe, Mart 20, 2014
